Here we have a good looking vintage Hornby O Gauge No.2 4-4-0 Locomotive and Tender in LNER Green Livery with R/N 2711 as shown. This is a very nice example that has some small paint chips to raised edges and around the base-plate valances and some historical touch-in but still looks really good. The clockwork drive mechanism runs very nice and strong and it has the original key. The odd mark to livery from handling over the years and minor paint chips to valances as (photos) and all are entirely commensurate with age and use. All Wheels, Running Gear, Buffers and Couplings are intact and in absolutely very good shape as can be seen. The original transfers are all intact and look sharp. The tender is in particularly nice condition as are the R/N decals to each side. The LNER decals to splashers on each side are legible and in good shape, the crests to each side of the cab are also legible but show more signs of wear. A great Hornby locomotive that would make a great addition to any collection.
