For auction here is a HORNBY DUBLO model number 4320 of a BR(WR) 6 Ton Refrigerator Van in White/Cream numbered W59850. It was manufactured from 1958 to 1965 and this is from the final production with open brake gear. It is in very good to excellent condition considering its age (at least 54 years old) no damage/blemishes whatsoever. The end hand rails are firmly in place and all the letters/numbers are clearly visible. It comes with its original box and original packing rings. All the spoked wheels have been cleaned and the axles lightly oiled and they run very smoothly. The box is also in very good to excellent condition considering its age. No dents, creases, tears or other damage. There is a small pencil price of “4/11” (almost 25p!) written on one end flap. In reality this was a versatile wagon widely in use throughout the BR system. The large end flaps, when open made it a ventilated Van (Fruit & Veg.) and when closed with ice packs loaded a refrigerator Van (Meat & Fish). Please look at the ten photos posted that show the Van from all angles. I aim to describe my items as accurately and honestly as possible and mostly post twelve photos. Also, I am always happy to answer any questions to clarify the condition of my items and will provide additional photos, if required.
