VINTAGE 00 Gauge Rake of 3 Tri-ang Passenger Coaches in BR Crimson Lake & Cream. Condition is Used, paintwork is tired and transfers are somewhat rubbed. Interiors detail and seating on all 3. Rake comprises 1st Class Corridor; Restaurant 1st; and Brake 3rd Corridor.
Restaurant car especially is showing interior fading and curtain effects look as you would expect for +/- 50 years old. Corridor interiors on the other 2 look in better condition. All buffers and couplings are present – couplings are the closed-end type. Plastic wheels, the restaurant car has half of one wheel sheared off (see photo) and should be replaced. They run ok solo, less well as a rake, mainly due to the pressure of the concertina connectors.
The presentation box is converted from a Tri-ang train set box which has been cut down and folded to the current shape.
