Victorian Railways 2 Position Somersault Home Signal in HOscale (3.5 mm/ft).
The two-position semaphore signals used on Victorian Railways(Australia) are known as “somersault” signals. They were introducedaround 1887 and remain in use today in some locations.
The Home signal give indication of a clear track ahead and permitsa train to proceed past the signal to either the next signal within a stationor other signalled location.
These signals are manufactured in etched brass and castings.They are hand finished, fully assembled, painted and with working signal armand LED lamp.
The signals are ready to place and can be operated eithermanually or electrically via a Tortoise motor or similar.
