HO gauge brass model of Union Pacific Veranda Turbine road number 61 with round tender.

Made by Katsumi (KTM) in Japan around 1970 for importer Balboa.

In fair condition in original box. It came with factory paint and lettering. It was supplied with hand rails that were to be applied by the owner. This has been done poorly with excess solder and has been overpainted with a colour that does not quite match the original. There are close up pictures of the affected area on the right side and the left side is similar.

The model appears to have been test run only

The cab has been glazed but there is no internal cab detail.

The model has been tested and runs very well in both directions. It requires a powerful controller able to supply at least 1 amp to power the older open frame type motors that are built to last.

It is heavy and this will be reflected in the postage cost.
