Over the years I have collected and bought numerous Hornby and Triang trains, signal boxes, platforms and all manner of accessories. Some of these items dated from my childhood of the 1960’s and 70’s. I have decided to sell off some of my pieces. ALL MY MODEL TRAINS ARE BRITISH MADE WITH THE OCCASIONAL MODELS MADE IN AUSTRALIA AND NZ. These models are from another era. Sought after and collectable. Buy these models with confidence.
On offer is a Triang OO RCX Train Set
Locomotive is an R59 in near excellent condition. Runs very well. I have pulled it down, cleaned and oiled it. Has some slight transfer loss, particularly on the RHS. R120 AND R121 coaches are both excellent condition (better than the loco).
Has the correct R42 Speed Control Unit which works. Wiring is missing.
Fourteen curved tracks and five straight sections (is missing the uncoupling straight). I do have numerous quantities of this track in stock. If I can find an uncoupling straight I will include it in the sale (and change the ad here).
Box is in good condition with all inserts but they show the usual wear and damage. Lid is in fair condition. Has typical damage to corners (usual for these lids. Some taping to lid corners but buyer can easily improve on this.
