Tri-ang Hornby Class 31 A1A Diesel Loco. This is the later version with contacts on the trailing bogie. It should run fine on Hornby or Tri-ang track as it does not have the deeply flanged wheels of earlier models. This is a nice model for the period (late 60s or early 70s) with nice level of detail and a good rugged feel. These were designed to be usable toys, not perfect scale models, so perfect for introducing youngsters to the hobby without breaking the bank or the Loco!
Condition is good, there is some wear and tear from use and age but is minimal and displays well.
It has been in storage for some years and I have no layout to test it on but responds well to power so I expect little trouble, may require a service if you intend to run the Loco.
Comes in a plain white box for convenient storage.
