Just place this stick across your rails, & rub lightly along the track. You can also use a rotating motion has you rub,which leaves a deposit on the inside of the rails.(small particles from the stick will be deposited)
You don’t have to “scrub” the track, just a light pressure from your finger resting on the centre of the stick is all you require. The coating left behind is also picked up by your rolling stock, thus treating your track has it goes (good for tunnels where you can’t get access)
These sticks last a long time so very cost effective.
Also good to improve pick-up contact, just apply to inside of flanges where most pick-ups collect there power from,
Can also be used has OIL FREE Lubricant for metal gears & motor parts
The stick is non abrasive, so won’t damage your precious rails, or rolling stock (for points we advise treating each blade individually so not to stress blades using end of stick)
