Thomas & Friends TrakMat (R8217) mounted on a solid wooden board and fitted with a selection Hornby 00 Gauge track.The overall size is 1900mm x 1220mm including the handles making it easy to manoeuvre, lift and store. This arrangement is ideal for storing the setup upright against a wall and then placing it on the floor ready for use. The board has been reinforced with runners to ensure that it is stiff and does not flex (very important). In addition to being fitted with 00 Gauge track (using Hornby track extension packs A, B, C, D, E and F) the layout also includes a double level crossing (R636) and a single distant signal (R172). The original cost to create this layout was very significant!Due to its size, this item will need to be collected. See my other auction for a suitable twin power controller (the one shown in the pictures is being listed separately and is NOT included). The Thomas & Percy engines plus assorted carriages and trucks are NOT included in this auction as they have already been sold.
