A professionally-built ex-SR Bulleid ‘Q1’ locomotive. This consists of a heavily modified cast whitemetal superstructure, with a custom etched brass chassis running Markits finescale all-metal wheels with a 5-pole Japanese motor & 40:1 romford gears.. This was built for a client who hasn’t responded to my attempts to make contact for a couple of years, so I’m attempting to obtain some reward for my labours…Start price just about covers the cost of the materials, the motor, wheels & gears being nearly 70 worth alone..
Finished in satin black, this can be completed with whichever insignia the buyer wishes, & can be expertly weathered if required, for a modest additional fee.
