For Sale are 6 body screws to connect the chassis to the body of Bachmann Diesels. These are the same size as the Bachmann body screws (375-015) BUT THEY ARE NOT BACHMANN SCREWS.
The size is 8mm length and 1.6mm diameter.
It is very difficult to get hold of the Bachmann Screws these days and there are lots of bodies and chassis being sold out there.
Quite a number of the Bachmann locomotives use this size of screw including the Class 37, Class 47 and Class 55 locomotives. They will fit other locomotives and multiple units too. But BEWARE, I haven’t tried them on any multiple unit except a class 158 ( which are fine) so they may not be long enough for some body to chassis connections.
Please note these screws have a Torx Head and need a Torx Screwdriver (T5) to do up and undo although a small slotted screwdriver does work pretty well.
