Silver Fox BR SR Class 74 Electro-Diesel Locomotive – 74002
This is a OO Gauge Model.
Of the twenty-four Class 71s originally built, ten were deemed surplus to requirements in 1964, withdrawn and placed in storage. In 1967 they were brought out of storage, shipped to Crewe and rebuilt as Class 74, a more powerful version of the Class 73 which had impressed BR Southern Region. The Class 74s subsequently worked a variety of routes across Southern Region for the best part of a decade.
Certificate of authenticity is included.
The model is supplied in a ‘Silver Fox’ box and will be securely packaged for safe transit.
