Showcase Models Harris Edge LNER Flying Scotsman Card Kit 22″ long 0 gauge + Bonus Royal Scot
This Showcase Models by Harris Edge cardboard model kit has a copyright of 1969 on the instructions.It is to build a 22″ long, 8mm to the foot, scale model of the Flying Scotsman.
Although unbuilt I can’t claim this is new as the box is squashed and I had to retrieve the sheets from a loft floor from behind a storage unit. Have a good look at the photos to see the condition.
All 13 sheets listed in the instructions are present. At first I thought sheet 13 was missing but there is a list of parts in the instructions showing there wasn’t one. They must have been superstitious.
As a bonus I will include a Showcase Models kit for the Royal Scot.I don’t have the instructions for that so can’t be sure if sheets 1 to 10 are the complete kit, although I did find a previous listing which suggested they were. I will also include a photo which was in that listing of the instructions which should help.The low start price reflects the condition. The last one of these sold on Ebay went for considerably more.
