A simple to build 4mm scale resin kit for the South Eastern & Chatham Railway ‘O1’ class 0-6-0
. These lightweight & robust locos could travel virtually anywhere in south east England, making them so useful that for a design originating in the 1870’s, they could still be found working on former Colonel Stephens lines & around the kent coalfield into the 1960’s. Fortunately, one example, No.65 has survived & found a home on the Bluebell railway
The kit supplied will fit the Hornby ‘Jinty / Thomas’ etc. chassis of the Chinese-made type with very little modification, then the modeller is left to source 16mm tender wheels, buffers, handrail knobs & wire plus any other details as desired. Makes up into a convincing model with little effort.
