Roundhouse Lady Anne Locomotive built from Chassis & Boiler Kits HBK2 & HBK4
This listing is for a 16mm narrow gauge locomotive built from the Roundhouse Lady Anne kits HBK2 and HBK4.
The locomotive has been built and run statically under steam to run-in the engine (see photo). The kits have been build following the Roundhouse instructions and both coarse and fine valve timing has been set. The engine runs in both forward and reverse gears. It is possible that further fine tuning will be necessary.
The engine has black painted frames and all the other components are as supplied un painted. The frames have been assembled using hex headed bolts but the Roundhouse cheesehead bolts are included if you wish to revert to those. This engine was intended to be a tender loco hence the reversing lever etc. may not be in the correct place if using this chassis with a Roundhouse body kit. The brass footplate sheet has not been cut to its final size and could be replaced The reversing arm has not been cut so the lever can be repositioned if necessary.
A pilot hole has been drilled through the reversing cranks to aid the final pinning of the valve timing. However the crank pins have not been drilled and the cranks arent pinned so timing changes can still be made if required.
As the engine has been run there are oil and steam oil residues and water marks in places. This will need to be cleaned before further painting.
There are a range of enhancements included most of which have not yet been fitted so are in separate plastic bags (see photo).

The supplied tools are included together with the Roundhouse Safety Valve adjuster and Gas Filler removal tools. These fit a standard hex socket.
There are also a few items from the HBK4 kit that havent been fitted such as the smokebox dart and handrail. These are in plastic bags.
The boiler wrapper is loosely fitted to the boiler to protect it during transit.
Most of the supplied accessories are included, the main item not included is the steam oil as that is part used and therefore not possible to seal for transit.
