Here we have a rarely available and super example of a vintage AT&T F9 Diesel Sana Fe 281 locomotive, in it’s original box and insert.

This model comes from an extensive collection, amassed over several decades, by a good friend of mine’s Senior relative, who I am listing and selling for, as the aforementioned Gentleman now needs to downsize. As an avid collector, he really looked after his items. Most are in their original boxes etc. and many haven’t even ever been opened or used. He stopped adding to his collection about 10 years ago and everything has been stored away in large boxes in the spare bedroom’s wardrobes.
Like many of his trains, IF it has been used ever, it was very lightly or just to test it. It looks to be in excellent and if not MINT then very close to MINT condition. There appears to be very few of this model about and I doubt many are in such good, clean and at worst, lightly worn condition.
