On offer is WOODEN TRESTLE BRIDGE OVERPASS similar to the Timber Bridges that were and still are commonplace in some areas. This bridge will suit any OO/HO Train layouts (Hornby/TRIANG, ATLAS, BACHMAN ETC). THIS ONE IS A BRAND NEW DESIGN AND MORE DETAILED.
This bridge is made from MDF and natural hard wood timber. All timber has been hand cut and sanded. EACH TRESTLE HAS CONSIDERABLE DETAIL WITH RAILS AND STAYS ON BOTH SIDES (as pictured). TRESTLES HAVE MORE DETAIL THAN PREVIOUS BRIDGES. ALL OF THIS DETAIL IS HANDCUT FROM HARDWOOD. Bridge has been stained and painted with a paint wash to give a similar appearance to the real thing (timber looks like it has aged. These bridges are hand made and in my belief more realistic than any plastic bridge. There is considerable work in these bridges and I have copied detail from old trestle bridges I have photographed in NSW.
Bridge is approx 32cm long (including retaining walls) and 7cm high. Clearance where semi trailer is, is approx. 5 cm.The end retaining walls are 20 cm wide. This bridge has more detail than other model bridges offered on here.
I CAN SUPPLY TRESTLES OF ANY HEIGHT AND WIDTH AND TIMBER LENGTHS FOR TRACK AS INDIVIDUAL ITEMS.
