Here I am selling a group of live steam O and 1 gauge locomotives and related items….So please my other auctions. This one is a Quality Brass Proprietary made O gauge live steam 2-6-0 Mogul Locomotive with Bassett Lowke Tender. This is a very well engineered factory made mostly brass, Locomotive. It even has cast brass wheels. There is a copper silver soldered Smithys type inner boiler. It turns over and operates very smoothly and looks to be in very good mechanical order throughout. Has not yet been steamed and requires someone with the knowledge and workshop facility to complete. It needs a burner system adding, probably gas fired with gas tank in the tender or meths drip chicken feed in the tender with supply pipe to the burner heads. I am supplying with the locomotive a used Bassett Lowke tender which is suitable for modification to take the burner tank and possibly a water tank with mechanical pump. A very well worthwhile project to complete and you will has a quality powerful Locomotive..PLEASE do see and study photographs to judge condition and contentyourself….
