This is one of a growing range of products for the restoration of vintage 0-gauge trains. Makes covered include British Hornby, French Hornby, JeP, LR and Carette. Carette couplings are also found on some rolling stock branded ‘Bing’ and ‘Bassett-Lowke’. The large Hornby drop-link coupling has been used as a replacement on Bowman vehicles.

These couplings are made using modern manufacturing processes to eliminate the inconsistencies of hand-crafting and to keep the price reasonable. They are blackened and are supplied in a light protective film of oil. In our eBay listings we offer a variety of couplings to Hornby 0-gauge pattern, for restoration of Hornby originals or to make new rolling-stock. These include large and small drop-link types and English and French auto-couplings; eyelets to suit; and also brake-levers for type 50 wagons and vans. Please click on ‘See other items’. Club orders are welcome. When buying couplings, please consider whether you need to purchase eyelets from us for fixing them, as this will avoid an extra handling/p&p charge.
