Pre WW1 Bing Miniature N Scale Tinplate LNWR George Fifth & Coaches Floor TrainClick images to enlargeDescriptionMiniature early tinplate floor train toy by Bing. Believed to have been commissioned in conjuction with the LNWR, these sets were sold at station bookstalls and refreshment rooms before World War One. Some of the tinplate coupling hooks and coupling rings are missing but otherwise this set is in good condition for its age. The loco tender shows traces of having an artificial coal load added by a previous owner. Please examine the images carefully to establish condition and size of the items.

Condition:
Mint: Totally unused, still with any original packaging, as it left the manufacturer.
Fine: Appearing unused, no obvious sign of wear.
Excellent: Minimal signs of wear
Good: Some signs of wear and use but acceptable.
Fair: Used with some signs of distress or blemishes
Poor: Well used with significant blemishes, possibly missing parts suitable for spares or repair/restoration only.
Occasionally an item will not fit exactly into a category and I will use such terms as better than excellent or fair/good. These should be self explanatory.
