Power control unit Type A2 ideal for hornby electric train sets vintage 1960 . Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
It was used on a hornby electric train set to power the train. For use on alternating current supplies only.
AC input – 220/250 Volts, 50/80 cycles, 14 Watts
Output – 0-12 volts, 8 Watts DC.
Made in England by Meccano Ltd. probably in the early 1960s.
It still has its original 2 pronged plug, its a long time since it was used but it has always worked in the past.
