O gauge nameplates. 7mm Scale Nameplates, number plates, 3 beasties and GWR plaques. Ideal for the class 60 from Heljan repainted in GWR green livery.

What is in the set.
2 x Isambard Kingdom Brunel namplates.
2 x Hand painted GWR plaques for the nameplates.
2 x 60081 number plates. With orange line transfers.
2 x Brass EWS 3 beasties.
4 x Cab end number waterslide transfers printed on clear transfer paper. There are 2 spare transfers just in case of errors.
These nameplates are etched from 12thou high grade brass and all sets are pre cut and finished. So just need attaching to the locomotive. All of these nameplates have been meticulously researched, drawn and then etched in 7mm scale. These are then sprayed in etch primer and then finished in the correct background colour.
Attaching to the locomotive.
This is easily done using a cocktail stick and a smear of varnish. Floor or yacht varnish are good for this as they give good adhesion to the locomotive body side and also a chance for re-positioning (whereas superglue doesn’t allow this). Other options are very thin double sided tapes, these also don’t allow for re-positioning either, but cab be removed carefully.
To attach waterslide transfers.
The transfers need a gloss varnish base on the model before fitting.
Use clean water to soak the transfer for 60 seconds.
Slide off carrier paper and apply to model. The use of Decalfix can aid this process.
Blot with tissue paper to remove excess water.
Allow a couple of hours to dry before re-varnishing the model.
