Hello, this listing is for a kit of parts to construct a lineside hut in O gauge / 7mm scale.

This kit is cast resin from my own moulds and masters. It features timber clad sides and ends with plank and nail detail, a planked door and corrugated roof. Also included are components for the window and stiff card for a base.

The model builds very quickly with superglue or similar adhesive in to a sturdy basic structure which could be used as it is on the layout, or detailed by the builder according to their own requirements. The more experience builder may spot opportunities for kit bashing or combining kits to make different and larger structures.

These versatile little huts could once be found employed in many different roles all over the railway network, for example as platelayers huts, lamp huts, parcels or the coal merchants office in the goods yard. It could also be used in the yard of industrial premises, and would make a fine shed in a garden or lineside allotment.

The photographs show the parts that you will receive and a test build which illustrates how the finished model could look.

The finished building from a single kit has a footprint of approx. 85mm x 55mm
