Unfortunately I am continuing the task of selling my father’s collectionwho passed away 3 years ago. Dad was modelling and collecting for over 70years!!Dad was a very keen railway modeller and collector, and modelled fromRTR N Gauge right through to scratch built O Gauge and engineered live steammodels also…I estimate the amount of model railway items to number in theTHOUSANDS…….and will be listed on Ebay during the coming year. O Gauge 7mm LNER 61ft Buffet Car Gresley teak coach 1933 with interior detail ……..Looks superb ! .
Scratch-built item by my dad using details in brass , white metal bogies and finescale metal wheels. Detailed undersides to coach.Sides of coach are planked with ‘scale grain’ wood veneers, which give a magnificent effect.
Very solid/stable coach weighing in at 900 grammes !!
On a test track, coach runs very freely. Is fully glazed, with fully detailed interior and a hardwood roof.
Coach appears in excellent , overall condition, but is dusty and will benefit from a good clean?
All sold as requiring fettling, completing or improvementMostly looks undamaged, but please assume a few delicate bits here andthere may be missing as I have not looked closely at each one!Some may have damage or missing parts I am not aware of, so please lookat the photos carefully before bidding!PLEASE study the photos carefully before placing a bid, or askquestions……..better still COME AND VIEW!!!
