NEW Old Stock LifeLike P2K #8517 Center Cupola Steel Caboose Maine Central #660Based on a car designed by the United States Railway Administration (USRA) during World War I, this steel caboose became a fixture on many northeastern railroads. Over 40 different lines owned cars of this type and some saw over 60 years of service.
The PROTO 2000 steel center-cupola caboose comes fully assembled and ready for service. Each authentic replica has over 75 separate parts including a complete interior with potbelly stove, sink and bunks, plus a complete underbody with brake cylinder, triple valve, air reservoir, brake rods and clevises. The cars ride on authentic Bettendorf swing motion caboose trucks and include magnetic knuckle couplers.International Buyers Please Note: These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
