N Roco 24217: DB kl.1/2 express ‘Hecht’ coach, type AB4e-23a, Ep.III, boxed, EXC
A super example of a ‘Hecht’ composite passenger coach, type AB4e-23a, of the Deutsche Bahn, no.1229 Esn, made in Austria by Roco during the period 1984/85. The ‘Hecht’ (“Pike”) coaches were so colloquially named because the body shape was similar to the head of a pike. This particular class of Hecht coach was built for the DRG in 1924/25. Roco’s model was originally catalogued as 2258, then renumbered to 24217 for 1984/85, then renumbered again, so the date of this example is fairly precise. This n-gauge coach is supplied in its original case which also contains an unopened accessory pack with roof vents and corridor connector extenders, plus a transfer sheet. The coach is in excellent condition. The perspex case has some signs of shelf/storage wear.

I am happy to combine items to save my time and your postage costs, where this is possible. It is NOT possible where (i) it will result in a package for posting overseas which weighs in excess of 2 kg (ii) the very nature of the items (shape/weight/fragility) being combined renders combined packaging impractical. If in doubt, check with me before you bid on/pay for different items. If you wish to purchase more than one item, it is essential that you ask me for/wait for a combined invoice (by adding items to the ebay shopping basket and, once you’ve selected all your chosen items, clicking on the ‘request total from seller’ link).
