MRC AD325 G GAUGE DECODERS X 3, with 4 functions, & front & rear lighting.

Here we have 3 X MRC AD325 decoders, rated at 8amps, they have all been removed over the past 12 months from Bachmann g gauge loco’s, a big hauler, an Annie, & a Connie.

They were all working when removed, and have been retested over the last weekend by plugging them into a loco which still has a wiring harness for this type of decoder. They have front and rear lighting control, and 4 function switches,  but there are a couple of issues though, decoder #20, the front light remains on constantly, & decoder #5, function 1 is on constantly.

There is also an instruction leaflet enclosed, although this states it’s for decoders AD324, but apparently the AD324, AD325 are the same. The decoders are NMRA DCC standard, and I used an LGB central station 3 with a Dimax hand controller, but they are old technology and out of date compared to what’s available on todays market.

I removed them, and have fitted more up to date decoders in the said loco’s, but I didn’t want to throw these away in case there maybe someone who could make use of them. They do give off an high pitched noise when in use, and I have found they do not work when put on to a DC analogue track, more information for these decoders can be found online, and I recommend looking if your interested and you know nothing about them, especially on George Schreyer and or Greg Elmassian’s web sites.

Will post to within the UK only, also the MPN number on my listing states it’s LGB, this is in correct, but I am unable to remove it.
