Incredibly detailed N Gauge kit of a 1960’s double road engine shed. The kit is coloured and treated – additional colouring can be done by spraying some parts with paint – for example, in the picture shown, the drainpipes and outer roof trusses have been sprayed blue – in the kit, the drainpipes are white and the outer roof trusses are grey.
You will require tweezers and PVA glue to construct. The brick print outer surface can be stuck to the walls using PVA, although spraymount is quicker.
Full printed instructions included, and the kit comes in a very nice blister pack, making it a good gift.
The materials are : multicore board for most components – very strong and resistant. The windows are made from 2mm acrylic and the rood is made from etched acetate. The drainpipes are ABS plastic.
The kit is stunning – the detail is amazing – you can see the internal trusses through the transparent roof and through the windows. There probably isn’t a better quality engine shed kit available.
