Model railway layout,N gauge,120cmx 600cm approx. (4′ x 2′), electrically wired for DCC(digital computer control).Built on a frame of2.5cm x 5cm timber and cladded with 6mm Birch plywood sheet. The photos show acontinuous loop of Peco flexible track with a passing loop at thestation and sidings for goods, coal and engine shed, all of which areseen by the viewer. Behind the back scenethere is a fiddle yard with three separate roads forstorage, and three manual Peco points controlled by the operator. There are a further five switches that control five more pointsautomatically when operating the layout. The engine shed, goodsshed and station buildings are Hornby Lyddle End resinstuctures. The semi detached houses are plastic models by Kestrel. The water tower and cattle dock are Ratio kits. Passengers, animals andstation staff come with the layout as well as the buildings. The controller, locos, rolling stock and road vehicles are not included. In the absence of anexpensive dcc controller, the layout could be connected to ananalogue controller, and only using one locowould work okay. Minor alterations to the track and electricalcicuitry would enable more than one loco using an analogue dualcontroller. My reason for sellingis because my interest is in 00 gauge and this was a small excursioninto N gauge modelling out of curiosity.Buyer collects.
