THIS AUCTION IS FOR A MIXED COLLECTION OF HORNBY 00 GAUGE STEAM LOCOS THAT I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO SELL, THE LOCOS ARE ALL RUNNERS AND SEEM TO RUN WELL WHEN I TESTED THEM ON A 1MTR PIECE OF FLEXI TRACK PRIOR TO LISTING ( however as with any loco that has not been run for a while a quick service would not do them any harm ) I HAVE HAD A QUICK LOOK AT THE LOCOS AND FROM WHAT I CAN MAKE OUT FROM THE SELLER SOMEONE HAS PREVIOUSLY HAD A GO AT REPAINTING THE LOCO’S AND ADDING PART DETAILING TO THEM IT ALSO LOOKS LIKE THEY MAY HAVE BEEN RENAMED AND RE NUMBERED (please see all photos as i have tried to show that the paint job etc is not too bad and the re lining is very good my opinion a 8 out of 10.I was going to sell this collection as spares or repair however after a second and third look and even after the taking in the paint job the locos will enhance any 00 gauge layout and it is a shame not to see them being used )
