It can be specifically used with all types of MAINLINE PALITOY
4-6-0 locos except Manors which require a different type of chassis.
This type of chassis requires ‘RUNNING-IN’ and is always slow starting.
After 2 minutes of RUNNING, the chassis will operate to its full potential and is quite controllable.
The chassis will also fit Bachmann’s Long Firebox Jubilees 45665-45742 ( NOT 45552-45664)
and all the BACHMANN Royal Scots, Rebuilt Patriots and Rebuilt Jubilees.
Replacement gears can be purchased from Mousa Models and carbon brushes / springs are available through the Internet.
The colour of the Cylinder casing can be changed at a cost of 5.00.
