What locos will this kit* fit?Especially useful for the Lima 08, 09, 31, 37, 40, 47, 52, 57, 59, 60, 66, 92 & the steam locos.Although it also fits all the other Lima pancake motors, I recommend for all the others you fit the hardier, and far more common (and thus cheaper) 12mm motor. See my other kits for this motor.
NOT SUITABLE FOR:Lima class 20 and 67Locos with additional non-factory ballast weight added**24hr operation**
** this motor is a more sensitive device than the bullet-proof 12mm version. While I have tested this 10mm motor running round in a Lima class 47 pulling 6 coaches at a scale 100mph for 5 hours with absolutely no ill effects, I cannot recommend it for a shop-window-style marathon running or model-rail haulage competitions!

Recommended for DCC operationWhere the decoder’s CV5 can be adjusted to match the low-voltage requirement of the motor. (So NOT the Hornby R8249)Generally, adjust the value of CV5 so it is around 30% of it’s default/max value. Eg. ESU/Bachmann maximum is 64 and good values for this motor are in the range of 18-24, which will still give you a max speed in excess of scale top speed.
