This kit suitable for DC or DCC control – no extra components required for DC
None of my motor kits are suitable for analogue running on a DCC layout (Loco “0”) – They will quickly overheat and get damaged. Only DC with a DC controller, or DCC control with a DCC decoder. (oh, and Bluetooth control with Batteries…see below.)

This motor will enable much smoother and significantly quieter operation of the Lima 0-Gauge class 33, the SNCF 67000 and the little 0-4-0 shunter (“D2852”) diesel locos. IT DOES NOT FIT the Lima 0 gauge 4F.With it’s puny current demand it is also ideal for battery remote control.You will be able to add weight to your loco to improve traction – however care must be taken as the motor is much hardier than the flimsy Lima gear-chain!
This kit consists of:Brand new, 12mm, quiet can motorNew nylon gear to mesh perfectly with the existing Lima gear-chainSpacer tube to align motor accurately while it is glued in place. (Maximum of ONE spacer per order/parcel. Only one is needed for an infinite number of installs.)
You will also need and be familiar with using a:
ScrewdriverSoldering ironHigh-temperature hot-glue gun (160 degree glue sticks recommended or you could use silicon or epoxy).
