LGB 62179 G gauge 0-4-0 locomotive “Otto”. Purchased for a planned garden railway that never got built, this was previously used, but hasn’t been run in my care run other than to check that it is working. This could be a great additional locomotive for an existing LGB railway.
There is no major damage, backward and forward operation is good, but please note the following minor items: Front headlamp bulb is blown; One of the gold coloured valves above the front right hand piston is missing, the other gold valve above the left hand piston is bent inwards (both shown in head-on picture); the “looped” whistle above the cab is present but broken (see cab roof detail picture); Some very minor corrosion of the plating on the motion on the right hand side (see last picture). None of these affect the useability, wheels, motion, drive and couplings are all in full working order.
