This is a Kit built model of a Gresley K3 2-6-0 tender locomotive 61823 in lined black livery, early crest.

This is a superbly detailed model with an excellent paint and lining finish.
Coupling to the rear is compatible with Bachmann and Hornby rolling stock. Detail parts have been fitted with screw couplings to front and rear with real coal in the tender.
She has a 64A shed code plate on the smoke box door, correct for this livery.
Powered by a can motor to gearbox on the rear axle, she has not been used on a layout as you will be able to see from the wheels. Runs well on test track and will need a little running in. Being kit built she will need generous curves.
This is a loco drive model not DCC ready.
The loco is boxed and will be securely packaged for shipping.

The actual loco this was modelled on was built at the Darlington Works and entered service in November 1924. During her BR service she worked from St Margarets shed (64A) in Edinburgh, eventually withdrawn in December 1959.
This class of engine was an excellent mixed traffic locomotive.
This is a superb example of this class of loco.
