This train set has been donated to the Wigan and Leigh Hospice, for which I’m a long-standing volunteer. As such, all proceeds received from the sale of this train set will go directly to this charity to help fund their services to the local community. Thanks very much for looking and happy bidding!
I’ve set the train set up and run it. The loco runs very well both forward and reverse.
I don’t believe that it has been played with at all much as it’s in amazing condition considering its 40 year vintage!
There is a little paint come off one of the driving wheels (please see photo of loco) but apart from that it is in very good condition.
The level crossing, uncoupler and tunnel I don’t believe have ever been assembled.
The accompanying 1978 catalogue and literature are also in excellent condition.
