Class 40 in BR Green D232 Empress of Canada with small yellow panels – SOUND REMOVED and DCC-ready; standard Hornby Railroad example featuring the Lima body on the upgraded Railroad chassis with NEM couplings, and a much improved performing model railway locomotive as a result. This was bought second-hand for a well-intentioned project that has now moved on, as model railway things so often do! Please note that this loco is running on a chassis with black-fronted bogies, probably from a model of 40152. I don’t believe that the box is original, but nonetheless the locomotive is effectively as new.
