Hi and welcome to my Buy it Now of my classic Hornby R695 Unboxed InterCity 125 3 car set
there is little sign of any body scratches or crazying to the Mk3 windows
the bodies arnt chipped or missing corners and there are no loss seats or windows rattling around inside
Looks to be perfect roof with no scratches and on underside all axles move freely
On test run the ringfield turns happily with no whistles or bearing squeal
It was only missing one coupling hook on the Mk3 when I took the pictures but I have since found a replacement and fitted it so now ready to run,,
As you can see no box,,, it would be great if an empty R695 box was avaliable as its virtually mint (hint-hint!!)
Otherwise I would keep it… 🙂 [Am more Tri-ang inclined]
Much as I love Hornby’s latest super detailed HST’s with heavier drives they are more for collectors,,, these lovely “classic” 125’s are great for kids moving up from their Thomas and Friends with no fiddly parts to break
I often wonder why Hornby dont re-issue this in their Railroad range,,
Anyway I digress,,, Lovely old HST R695 3 Car set free UK post and packing
