I am in the process of changing scale and location of my modelling. Leaving USA outline N scale and returning to 4mm scale UK modelling (BR(SR) in the 1950s) I have started collecting stock. During this process I have acquired a number of items as parts of packages and in these have bought some I do not think appropriate to my timeline of the early 1950s, thus these are being put back up on e-bay. I believe they are all as good as new, but please look at the photographs to see this particular one.
The box is the right type for one of these Brake Vans but is incorrectly marked! It is an SR period one, not the BR one shown on the box label (I’ve no idea why!)
Postage within the UK is by PO “Small Parcel” rate which costs approximately 6.50 to send including packaging. I will combine purchases made within three days of each other to reduce postal charges so have a look at the rest of them!
Please note: this auction is for ONE ITEM ONLY. This one is one of Hornby’s more recent products and is up there with the very best of 4mm scale products This is a beautiful model but, although I bought four of them I have since acquired some BR-liveried ones. I don’t think it has even probably left its box, even for photographs. Look at the pictures and decide for yourself. I will have some other British wagons for sale as I refine my collection, please look out for my other auctions. Multiple purchases of these will be packed together in one box to save on postage costs, only one postage charge being made for multiple items sent together.
