Hornby R525 G.W.R Pannier Passenger Train set. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail Signed For® 2nd Class.Box is battered and tatty, controller and power supply (including track power clip) is missing as is the cardboard tunnel section (both plastic tunnel portals are in the box) it contains old Hornby steel track (8 curves 1st radius and 4 half straights) which is all tarnished and untestedThe coaches appear to be BR Mk1 coaches painted in a generic great western livery both are in good used contion with only a few minor marksThe Pannier tank has a few dings and dents and a numberplate sticker missing, wheels are a bit surface cracked and tarnished but ive given it a clean and service and it does seem to work rather well if a bit noisey (I assume thats normal for the very old school mechanism it has inside) its been test run on my layout and im happy with itOverall for something made in 1975 its in reasonable condition , ideal for a collector perhaps?Please check out my other itemsHappy bidding !
