An excellent example of 60010 Dominion of Canada from the Commonwealth Collection in BR green with double chimney and late crest. The loco. is unblemished, the box has some slight evidence of storage, otherwise excellent. There are some small issues that need to be noted. Please see below:
1] Whilst separating the loco. and tender, one of the wires into the 4-pinn connector has come adrift in the loco. This is an easy fix, but means that the loco. will not run until repaired. Prior to this, the loco. ran well. See picture 1.
2] A bell has been glued to the front of the chimney with superglue. This should not be difficult to remove, and the chimney restored to pristine. See picture 2.
3] The right hand cabside clear wind deflector is missing. I only noticed this when taking the pictures!
The starting price has been lowered to reflect these issues.
All correct paperwork is present together with limited edition certificate, and the small pack containing the flanged pony wheel and cylinder drain cocks.
The loco. ran well, but has not seen a lot of layout use, and will benefit from running in.
Will be securely packed for shipping. Please note I have ‘Empire of India’ for sale as well, and will reduce postage for combined orders.
Buyer will be responsible for all duties and taxes levied by HMRC or other customs upon arrival.
