Hornby R2261 LNER 4472 ‘FLYING SCOTSMAN’ Class A3.
R2261 was released in 2002. Catalogues: 48, 49 & 50.
This model is tender driven and is in absolutely excellent condition (no marks) throughout and runs well in both directions. Most of its life it has been spent either in its box or on display in a glass cabinet in a smoke-free home. Despite its age if you plan to run the loco on your layout I suggest that you run it in as if it was new as per the manufacturerers simple instructions in the Operation & Maintenance leaflet which is included.The box does have historic staining on the bottom, the closure flaps are intact. The polystyrene cradle is in excellent condition with nostaining.
