From my collection:
Hornby OO gauge catalogue no. R. 069 BR Class 253 Inter-City 125 Power Car and Dummy Power Car, set no. 253005, in BR blue and yellow livery. This train pack was issued between 1977 and 1979. A Mk.3 2nd Class coach is also included.
The set is in very good condition, and runs well. It is comprised of:
R.069 – HST Inter-City 125 Power Car no. 43010
R.070 – HST Inter-City 125 Dummy Power Car no. 43011
plus
R.439 – Mk.3 Inter-City Open 2nd Class Coach.
Both power cars feature headlights which illuminate in the direction of travel. A copy of the Hornby Locomotive Operation and Maintenance instructions is included.
The set comes in its original box, which show some signs of wear. The coach does not have its original box, but will be securely packaged.
