HORNBY OO GAUGE ORIENT EXPRESS ‘THE BOXED SET’ R1038. SET HAS BEEN RELISTED DUE TO DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF DPD – NOW AT A BARGAIN PRICEAll the track is present, so are the coaches and the lococoach table lights work in two coaches, in one only half work. (Pictured) would appear that the power connection to that bogey has broken – easily repairable for someone in the know.the loco has unfortunately seen a little more damage. All pictured – one of the wheel connecting rods has off. A model shop quoted me 30 to fix this. Also, the tender has damage to the corner and is missing a set of steps on the right hand side, however this is only minor detailTransformer/controller in full working order, very expensive set newsadly, the outer box and the red display drawers are a little tatty from storage, the lower drawer which houses the track and controller has ripped on one side (pictured). I also have lost the polystyrene tray which holds the inner radius track and long straights. I also can’t seem to find the layout software, however this only supported pcs up to Windows XP so, it’s unusable anywaystarting bid to reflect this, would be ideal as a starter set with little work, or to add to an existing set.
