HORNBY SOLID STEEL HALF CURVE RAIL.
Manufactured by Meccano Ltd of Liverpool, circa 1937. From the pre-war Hornby Series O gauge system, specially produced for running the Hornby ‘Princess Elizabeth’ introduced in the same year.
This listings is for one half curve rail of 3 ft. radius solid steel track, complete with original fishplates (rail connectors). I have five sections available, the photo’s show a typical example together with all five sections available.
Clean bright original condition, free from rust & distortion.
Compatible with most makes of vintage toy & model trains; Bassett Lowke, Bing, Carette, Hornby, French Hornby, Lionel, Marklin & Etc.
