HORNBY O Gauge No.1 RAILWAY STATION (Wayside) with BOX.
Manufactured by Meccano Ltd. of Liverpool, circa 1930. For the Hornby Series 0 gauge range.
Third revision printing with updated costumes & second type motor car with three side windows by the station entrance, issued in this form 1930 – 32 only.
Beautifully lithographed station building with lots of great detail, blue tiled roof, on buff / cream enamelled platform.
Structurally sound & complete, free from dents, distortion & corrosion.
The litho buildings are in excellent condition with only a few tiny bright spots, excellent roof with one spot of tarnishing, good platform with paint chipping to white edge & area of creasing to the rear right hand corner.
Original box with end illustrations, heavily scuffed edges & split across the lid otherwise intact. No split corners.
Overall condition 7 out of 10.
