Hornby O gauge Clockwork Train Set With No.2 Special LNER 4-4-2 Tank Loco 1784
This full set came in a very old Orange box where I presume it has sat for many years.Quite an imposing model (the later Hornby O gauge kept the same gauge but reduced significantly in scale) and the quality in this era was excellent.I fully intended to sell the items separately but just cannot being myself to split them after all their years together.Bundle includes the LNER 1784 Clockwork locomotive, the oil drum truck with three wooden Castrol branded oil drums, the Hornby Railway Company coal truck, the blue tipper truck, the crane wagon, a set of buffer stops, 12 curved tracks, 4 straights, the large signal gantry, the single signal, some track joiners, the Hornby tunnel, the orange box theyve been kept in and a somewhat battered Hornby box within.I have no key with which to test the engine, paint and bodywork are nice but there is a crack in one of the driving wheels. As it is untested, please expect it to require repairs.Its quite a sizeable bundle and will have to be packaged well so its going to be courier for dispatch Im afraid, you can collect if you prefer.Please see my other listings for similar and related items.
