You are looking at an original Hornby MSLR 0-4-0T locomotive which was originally part of The Rover Set. The set’s catalogue number is R.1068. This set has long since been discontinued so the only place available to buy these items is privately, and not or official websites. Please note that only the locomotive is available in this listing.

Condition:
This is an official Hornby product (photo 7)The locomotive is in very good condition and is function prior to listing.The only defections are some very small scratches on the top of the cabin (photo 5) and that the front right bumper is slightly chipped (photo 4).This item does not come with its original packaging or any part of the set it is included in.
Reason for selling:
I am currently having a clear out of my possessions and I managed to dig this set out of the attic. It no longer holds any sentimental value to me. I am hoping to sell it on to another Hornby lover who might be able to resurrect this set and enjoy it as much as I did when I was a child as I now lack the know-how to buy what is missing from the set.Save this set!!

Due to the locomotive’s dimensions, the postage costs reflect the price of a small parcel sent first class by Royal Mail. The model will be thoroughly wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside a small box.
