Here we have an early Hornby Dublo locomotive and tender converted to 6229 Duchess of Hamilton 3 rail with LMS markings and in black silk paint. Fully stripped down and cleaned and refurbished with whatever the locomotive needed to bring it back to full health and can tell you with all sincerity that there are no parts missing, including the front drop link, no nasty screws or oversized washers to make this EDL2 model whole. New neo magnet and road tested, this loco is very strong and robust and will give many years of service. Fully and skilfully repainted with LMS markings, the loco displays beautifully and behaves as an engine of many years younger. UK postage 3.99 insured and tracked – Highlands and Islands may be more expensive.I find it incredible that I have to mention that there is nothing else for sale other than the engine and tender that makes up the Duchess of Hamilton, however some folk can get confused!
