Hornby R706 HST 125 Power Car Running Number 43046
This has been stripped down and cleaned. The motor has been stripped down and cleaned. Brushes and springs checked and then reassembled and lubricated. This was running slow when I purchased it but now runs quite fast. Fully tested on an oval track using a HM2000 controller and goes forward and reverse. In order to cut down on power drain for the lights I have done the lighting in this model different to the others I have previously done. Using just 2 LED’s (One red/One white) I have attached to the LED’s 1.5mm optic fiber cables and the end result looks great as seen in the photographs. The lights are directional so depending on which way the train is going either red or white is shown. There is the usual chips / marks on the bodywork but in line with its age. Please study photographs for condition. There is a medium sized paint chip on the yellow on the cab roof as seen in photgraph 4. Please note this.
